CAPITAL CROSSROADS AND DISCOVERY SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS
Keep a Lookout

If you've been around Downtown for a few years, you may know this time of year the Peregrine falcon chicks fledge (aka. test their wings) from the 41st Floor of the Rhodes State Office Tower. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources peeps (sorry, we couldn't resist) gave us a little scoop on what to expect in the next couple weeks. Hey, you might even be lucky enough to see one soar overhead. Click here to learn more.

Business Member Spotlight

Ted Fireman, Office Evolution

How long has your business been downtown?
We had our soft opening around the holidays last year, but really got started first of the year.

Why did you decide to locate to downtown?
Downtown growth is phenomenal and we saw a need for affordable executive suites, co-working space, conference rooms, and day offices in the Huntington Center.  It is an affordable way to grow a practice and let us take care of the office. The Huntington is at the intersection of government and business.  It has unequalled amenities both in the building and in the immediate area.  It is the only building with indoor access to the State Capitol, Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes Office Tower.

Pearl Market

Our "Give Peas a Chance" shopping bags are flying off the shelves...okay out of the boxes. If you want to nab one, come by the Market tent early.  Psst...we also give each farmer and merchant a stack so all you gotta do is buy something.

Treat Your (Taste) Buds

It's no secret - the Columbus crowd loves to eat. We're so good at it, in fact, that many dining outlets use us a test market. Our taste buds are important! And they deserve to be treated well. We found out a few places that  have added some new options so make sure to stop by and to test them out.

1. Throughout the summer months, stop by The Patio at Ohio Statehouse for a Sweet Treats Pop Up Series. Graze Seasonal Market will collaborate with local vendors to offer unique seasonal treats on their full-service patio. You'll find treats from some of Columbus' most popular up-and-coming cool treat concepts. Cool. Graze operates the patio Monday-Friday beginning at 11:30 a.m. Learn more here.
