Farewell, Mayor Coleman

On New Year's Eve, Columbus didn't just bid adieu to 2015. We wished a fond farewell to Mayor Mike Coleman. Coleman has had a huge impact on the city in his 16 years in office, particularly on the downtown area.

Under his tenure, major projects were completed, including Columbus Commons, the Scioto Mile, a dramatic increase in downtown housing, and public-private partnerships like the remaking of Nationwide Boulevard. Capital Crossroads SID and Discovery SID have been proud to partner with the City on a variety of initiatives to make downtown the best place to live, work and visit.
