What makes downtown a great place for business? We posed the question to local entrepreneurs, and even sweetened the pot with a 10 grand prize, which will go to one lucky business owner. All they had to do is post a video, but now we need your help. Don't worry; we want to give you the opportunity for a little prize action, too.

On Thursday, October 9, Mayor Coleman will throw the switch to re-light the historic Mr. Peanut sign at The Peanut Shoppe's new digs at the corner of State and High streets. The Peanut Shoppe, in business since 1936, moved to the 5/3 Building at 21 East State Street. During Mr. Peanut's move, it was discovered that a light could be placed behind his monocle; now Mr. Peanut will wink at passersby.

To celebrate Mr. Peanut's return, Right Now Downtown subscribers can enjoy 20 percent of a half-pound or more of one item from the showcases at The Peanut Shoppe.
