Live United - United Way

February Newsletter 2014
United Way of Central Virginia announced today that the
"Opening Doors...Changing Lives" 2013 Campaign is still underway! The annual campaign kicked-off in September and is expected to wrap up in the next several weeks.

"As we enter into the final stages of the campaign, we invite and urge you to help us raise the additional funds necessary to continue to meet the needs of the citizens in Central Virginia," stated MaryJane Dolan, Chairman of the Board for United Way of Central Virginia."We knew going into this campaign that this would be a tough year. At a time when budgets are still being cut, downsizing, government programs being cut and available government money shrinking, it is truly heartwarming to see so many coming together to support one cause - helping people in need."

Dr. George Hurt, 2013 Campaign Chair, added, "When you give to United Way of Central Virginia, our partner agencies, local leaders,
and volunteers are able to work to address community challenges and find solutions that lead to lasting changes."

Please join us as we continue to raise the funds necessary to help meet the needs of the citizens in our community.  Please LIVE UNITED and donate to United Way of Central Virginia today by calling 434-846-8467 or visiting our website at unitedwaycv.org.

THANK YOU for all that you do; not just for opening doors, but for opening your hearts as well!
