Hi everyone

Slightly different format this month - a shorter newsletter to send out the market reports before the month gets too hectic with Christmas festivities.

Nothing can stop the Vancouver housing market, not even typically slow November:  The market continues to be extremely active, particularly for single-family homes, with one out of every two active listings selling!
Market Statistics for November 2015
SnapStats Reports are a great way to keep on top of what's happening in specific cities an neighbourhoods across the Lower Mainland each month:
- The Metro Vancouver report covers Vancouver, West Van, North Van & Richmond
- Burnaby, New West, Tri-Cities & Ridge Meadows, are in the Greater Vancouver report
- Fraser Valley covers the south side of the river to Abbotsford/ Mission

Keep an eye on price trends!
The number of homes for sale hasn't been keeping with demand, continuing to place upward pressure on prices. For the details, check out the statistics from the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley real estate boards. They report on Home Price Index changes by city & property type (similar to the CPI).
Christmas Countdown
A different way to do the Christmas countdown - here's a list of something fun to do every day from now until December 24

If you don't already have a plan in place to 'deck the halls', here's a great resource of fabulous Christmas decor ideas

Closing Thoughts
For something different, I thought it would be nice to share with you one of my tried & true (since 1991) Christmas cookie recipes, Butter Tart Squares.  Very easy, very tasty!

If I don't manage to get another edition of this newsletter (with the media articles etc) in the next few weeks - Merry Christmas to you and yours, from me and mine!

PS, I've been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast in Mexico for the next 2 weeks - Adios!
