Dear Notre Dame Families,
Thank you to all who help make teacher appreciation week special. We truly have a wonderful group of teachers and staff! It is an honor for me to work with such great people. To all the moms, Happy Mother's Day!! I have directed all students to prepare breakfast for their mothers, clean their rooms and worship the ground that you walk on. Moms, you are loved and appreciated for all that you do. Please know that even when we forget to say 'thank you'.
Get ready for one of the all time great Spring Concerts at Notre Dame. Next week Thursday, May 15 the middle school will present Godspell.
Godspell is truly a fantastic rock musical telling the story of a portion of the life of Jesus Christ. This is a powerful presentation that will touch your life and that of your children.
2014 Key Event Co-Chair Announcement!
We are so excited to announce that Alissa Drewieske, Megan Skoczynski, Teresa Bishara, and Jen Heideman from Notre Dame and Leah Olson from Our Lady of Lourdes have all agreed to be Co-Chairs for the 2014 Key Event. The 2014 Key Event will take place on Friday, November 7th at the Swan Club in De Pere. If you would like to get involved with the Key Event Planning Committee, please contact any of the co-chairs listed above. Thanks to Alissa, Megan, Teresa, Jen and Leah for stepping up to lead the biggest fundraising event of the school year!
Camp Invention is returning to the Green Bay Area at Notre Dame of De Pere! We are excited to announce another fun-filled summer with two programs to be hosted at Notre Dame of DePere running the weeks of June 23 - 27, 2014 and July 21 - 25, 2014! Parents: The facilities planning committee is hoping to conduct 3 small focus groups before mid-May to get qualitative information from you as the planning process moves forward. Parents:There will be a football meeting Wednesday May 21st at 5pm for our player/parent meeting and sign up in the middle school gym. Kids will be trying on equipment, ordering socks, shoes and jerseys if they need them. Please plan to attend with your son. Any questions, please contact:

8th grade Notre Dame Savings Cards will be ready for purchase on Monday May 12th!
Cost is $12 and helps fund Class of 2015 retreat and graduation. There are many great local businesses generously participating. Offers range from 10-20% off, buy one get one free, or just $ off including De Pere Dairy Queen buy one blizzard, get a small free! These cards don't expire until May 31, 2015. There are a limited number of cards printed so get yours soon. You will be able to purchase these savings cards in each of the school offices, both parish offices and at the SCRIP table on the weekends in the back of church. Happy Savings!!

Buy One Get One book sale to promote summer reading is going on right now in the elementary school gym. From 2:45-3:45 on May 7-13 come and purchase books for summer reading enjoyment.
We are also in need of volunteers to run the this worthy event.

Congratulations to Aiden Wolfram, Hogan Anderson, Alex Gryboski and George Kress for taking 2nd place at St. Matthew's Magic Madness 3 on 3 basketball tournament. However, more importantly they were awarded the trophy for Best Sportsmanship!
Interested in SPORTS or COACHING for next year? If you are interested we would like you to fill out this very brief survey so we can get an idea as to the number of students that will be participating in any sports next year. This will help us plan how many teams to schedule for different sports.

Parents of 8th graders: Please make sure to pay any outstanding balances on lunch accounts before May 30th. You can login to Powerschool to check your balance or email Jodi Danen at jdanen@stmarydepere.org . If your child has money in their account at the end of the year it will be rolled into a siblings account. If you would like your money refunded please let us know.
