Powerschool access letter with passwords will be going home to the 3rd, 4th, grades today. An access letter with passwords has already been sent home to all other grades. These letters and passwords should be saved to be used throughout the school year! If you are interested in adding the powerschool app to you smart phone/I-pad you can find directions under the resource tab on the web-site.
St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter
Once again Notre Dame has received a special invitation to prepare and serve the meal for
St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter's annual open house. The open house is on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 4:30-7:30. The open house is open to the entire community, and gives visitors the opportunity to take an interactive tour of homelessness as it exists in Green Bay. This is a unique opportunity for our children to get involved! This is the only time children are allowed (as long as they are accompanied by a parent) inside the shelter.
We need and greatly appreciate your help!!! Below you will find two sign up genius links. The first is for meal items. All meal items should be dropped off in disposable containers at the Dolski Center (located at the middle school) by 3pm on October 30th. The second sign up genius link is for volunteers to help with set-up, serving, and clean up of the meal. Volunteers need to be in 1st grade or older, and should have an adult with them.
Sign up to bring meal items for the St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter's Open House:
Meal Sign-up GeniusPacker Dress Down Day
Go Pack Go!!! Oct. 18 is a free Packer Dress Down Day for Students & Staff.
I wanted to let you know about a great weekend I spent in Omaha. My five brothers, my son Joseph, and I finished the market to market relay race running from Omaha, Nebraska (my brother Hal is a baby Dr., neonatologist, at Children's hospital, Creighton U.in Omaha). The name of our team was the Semi-colons. The race is about eighty miles and mostly winds through Omaha, then the countryside, and finishes in Lincoln (about eighty miles). Most of you know that I am not competitive (ha ha), but we were one of the oldest teams and we finished 80th out of 500 teams. Not only was the race fun and challenging, we had dinner together (my mom and dad were able join us), and shared laughs about silly things that only brothers and Joseph would appreciate. Always remember family first!!!!! This is the kind of atmosphere I want at Notre Dame!!!!
Let Your Light Shine,
Jeff
