Dear Notre Dame Families:
I hope you all had a great first week at school! I know that I did!!!! A quick correction from last week's newsletter, enrollment in K-8 is 330 up from 295 last year. Enrollment including pre-school is 380 (which is an increase over last year).
The newsletter will come out every Thursday this year. Last year the newsletter was scheduled to come out Wednesday and it often didn't happen. Wednesday is a very busy day with Mass and the all school teacher meetings immediately after school.
Our awesome new web-site is up and running. To find out more about information that is of interest to you click on the ND Website. Featured News events will be events that are upcoming and have deadlines that we would like to highlight. For this week the featured news items include the ND Family Golf Classic and Raiderwear on sale now through September 12.
Response to the Notre Dame Golf Outing and Family Picnic is going well! If you haven't registered please be sure to do so by the end of the day Friday, September 13th. Children's permission slips are also due on Friday.
SCRIP:
THIS WEEK ONLY!!!! PLEASE have your scrip orders in (envelope/or online) by Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M. Due to the golf outing, we won't have anyone to enter orders on Monday so they will be entered and ordered on Sunday evening. Anything submitted after Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M., will not be available until the following Wednesday, September 25th.
Scrip is in need of volunteers. You will find it easy and fun and it is a great way to meet people. Volunteers are needed to help on Wednesdays thru Friday 7:45-8:45 and 2:30-3:30 each of those days. They need your help!! You will find the sign up genius on our ND Website under SCRIP.
Lunch Time Volunteers:
In order to provide a safe and nourishing environment for lunch at Notre Dame of De Pere, we will be asking for help from our school families! Each school family is required to help THREE times throughout the school year to support the lunch program - either by serving hot lunch in the cafeteria or escorting the middle school students over to the elementary school building.
