Dear Notre Dame Families:

We hope you are enjoying the spring temperatures that have finally arrived.  Last week was the mid-point of our 3rd trimester.  Please be sure to check your child's Powerschool account for updated grades.  Make sure you click on the links below to find out about all of the other events at ND.

Mr. Kaftan's surgery on Wednesday was successful and he is feeling good.  Continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Please join us for 8:30 Mass on May 1st at St. Francis as we are celebrating the May Crowning.

Are you missing any hats, sweaters, snowpants, mittens...?  If so, please check out the lost and found at both schools.  Any items not claimed by Friday, May 17th will be donated.

We hope you have a great rest of the week and have the chance to get outside and enjoy what seems to be a great spring week-end.

JUMP WITH JOY,

The Notre Dame Staff

volunteerPlayground & Cafeteria Volunteers
Hello ND Families,
First and foremost, a HUGE thank you for helping to volunteer for cafeteria and playground duty this school year.  We have had great feedback from parents saying they really enjoy seeing their child(ren) in their element and the teachers are very appreciative to have some down time to prepare for their classes.  This is just a friendly reminder that we are in the third trimester.  If you have not already, please go to our Sign Up Genius at   and select your day and slot for volunteering for this semester.  We are asking each family to volunteer for one slot per trimester or more if you wish.  Keep in mind that your time spent volunteer for this program is worth double towards your required family volunteer hours.  Again, thank you for your help in keeping our children safe and our teachers prepared!

FAFanconi Anemia
Hello Parents and Students,

May 1st is National Fanconi Anemia Day but we are going to celebrate on May 4th!  Fanconi Anemia is a  rare genetic disorder that affects our son Evan, in Mr. Youngs's fifth grade class, and our youngest daughter Becca.  Please help us spread awareness for the need of better bone marrow transplant outcomes, preventative cancer care and research to find a cure for this disease by
dressing down Thursday, May 2nd.  A dollar is not needed as all of you help Evan to celebrate his life each day.   Still, if you are so inclined to donate to our cause, please just send it with your child knowing that we are so very grateful.  For more information:

With sincere gratitude for all you mean to us and do for our family, Kim and John Connelly
