Dear Notre Dame Families:

Wow what a busy week!!! We have a new Pope named after St. Francis.  Pope Francis I shares the passion of St. Francis to be a champion for the poor.  God bless Pope Francis I!! Our prayers and support are with the new leader of our Catholic faith.

Please mark you calendars for Monday, March 18th. Governor Walker will be at St. Thomas More School in Green Bay to meet with School Choice Expansion supporters.  To find out more click on Choice

Congratulations to Rae Wied for winning the Grand Prize in the 2013 Brown County Dental Health Poster Contest!  Make sure to watch WBAY on March 19 from 4:00-4:30pm where her poster will be shown! Hopefully we can get a copy of the poster for next weeks newsletter.

ND Fleece Collection:  The fleece collection has begun!  Please consider donating new or gently used fleece as part of your lenten almsgiving. Help us reach our goal of 240 fleece which would clothe all the children at Tank Elementary School in Green Bay.  Collection bins will be by the school office now until March 27th.  For more details check out the link below.

Just a reminder that the Parent Handbook states...The entrance bell at the elementary building rings at 8:00a.m.  The middle school building entrance bell rings at 7:55a.m.  Every effort should be made to have students arrive to school on time (5 to 10 minutes early is a good target).  Tardiness adversely affects academics. Because of the interruptions it negatively impacts faculty, staff, and other children.

JUMP WITH JOY,

Jeff

BELLIN RUN TRAINING
We are looking for someone to be the lead person for our Bellin Run Trainings here at Notre Dame.  It is a great way for kids to train for this wonderful event and a great way to keep them healthy.  The Run will be held June 8th this year.  We have had a few people come forward and say that they can help on certain days, but we need someone that can take the lead.  Please contact me within the next couple of weeks or we will not be able to hold the training runs at our school.
Please don't let this leave our school.   Please contact Lynn Wolfram 920-660-7603 or lwolfram00@yahoo.com

Football
:  There will be a meeting for all parents and kids, who will be going into 6th - 8th grade next year, who are interested in playing football.  The meeting will be held in the Middle School gym on Tue. March 26th at 5:00.  We will be discussing next year's practice and game schedules, uniforms, player fees, etc.  Please mark your calendar for this meeting.  If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Wolfram at 920-660-7603 or lwolfram00@yahoo.com
