scripSCRIP
Below is the sign up for selling scrip.  This is a new sign up sheet starting in January.  I would like to be able to still sell on Wed, Thur and Friday, however we do need people to sign up to sell.  Notre Dame benefits tremendously from our scrip program, but we need many volunteers to keep this running.

Mrs. Nance has been kind enough to have it in the office, however it gets very busy in there in the mornings and after school and there is a lot going on right now.  I would rather we have sellers that can do the selling.  Also, we need to keep our selling hours consistent because it helps us with inventory and entering that we have to do for scrip too.

Please click on the link below to sign up for a few slots for selling scrip.  The link is also located on the school website under Scrip.
Thank you in advance for helping with our scrip program.

volunteerLunch & Recess Volunteer Notice
Hello ND Families,

First and foremost, a HUGE thank you for helping to volunteer for cafeteria and playground duty! We have had great feedback from parents saying they really enjoyed seeing their child(ren) in their element and the teachers are very appreciative to have some down time to prepare for their classes.

It is that time again where we need the help of each school family to select your day and time slot to volunteer for the second trimester. There are many openings and we need your help to fill the positions as early as NEXT WEEK! If you have not  fulfilled your second trimester playground requirement already, you can sign up using the following link:   Lunch & Recess Volunteer sign-up genius
We are hoping to avoid having to assign families that have not signed up for the second trimester to random slots, so please sign up soon to help ensure you volunteer on a date and time that work best for you!

You may also sign up for the third trimester now if it helps your planning, or you can wait for the reminder that will be sent out a few weeks before the last trimester begins. Notre Dame is asking for each family to volunteer for one slot per trimester, or more if you wish!

Please keep in mind that your time spent volunteering for this program is worth double towards your required family volunteer hours.

***Cancelations 48 hours before the day of your shift can be directed to the secretaries of the appropriate schools as the teachers/aides will need to fill in.

Thank you for helping to keep out children well supervised and safe!

cswCatholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is almost here. On Sunday, Jan. 27th, all Notre Dame families are invited to kick off this amazing week by attending the 9:00 a.m. Holy Mass at St. Francis Xavier of De Pere and afterwards join for fellowship at the Elementary building between 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the Open House and Complimentary Breakfast. For the Mass we are encouraging all to actively take a role such as singing in the choir, reading as a lector or assisting as a minister of hospitality. Go to

Athletics Announcement
TRACK COACH WANTED:
It's hard to think about the track season, but it's right around the corner.  We are looking for a Middle School Track Coach.  We have several parents who helped out last year that are willing to help again, but we need someone to be the lead person.  Track is for 6-8 graders and we usually have about 60 kids that come out for it.  It's a great healthy activity to keep the kids active in the spring.  Last year, our teams broke 8 records so we've got some talented kids to work with.  The season runs from April to Mid May.
If you are interested or know of someone that may be, please call Lynn Wolfram at 920-660-7603 for more details.

BELLIN RUN:
Once again we would like to offer the Bellin Run Training Program at our school.  As most of you know, Susan Moran has been our lead person for many years.  Her daughter has graduated from Notre Dame so we are looking for some families that are willing to help us out with this program.  I'm willing to help, but I also help with the track program so I'm looking for some parents that can help me out.  You don't need to be a fast runner or if you can't run, you can also bike with the kids.  This is a great activity for the younger kids.  We usually start them around the 2nd or 3rd grade depending on the child.  Training usually runs from April - June and we usually try to run right after school 2-3 days.  Please consider helping out so we can continue to offer this at our school.  Please contact me (Lynn Wolfram) if interested at 920-660-7603.
