Students performing in last weeks wonderful Christmas concert
Dear Notre Dame Families:
The Elementary School Christmas concert last week was outstanding!! Congratulations to Ms. Freeman, ES teachers and students on a great performance!! You certainly caught the true spirit of Christmas welcoming the baby Jesus into our hearts.
With the weather forecast calling for 10 + inches of snow (and Mr. Schwarten confirming it) there is a good possibility that we will have a snow day tomorrow. Notre Dame follows the De Pere school system for all school closings and delays. Watch any major news outlet for a list of closings. If it says De Pere we will be closed. On Friday there will be an exception, if De Pere has a two hour delay we will be closed. We will close because it is an early release day for ND (De Pere has a full day on Friday) It makes little sense to have the children bussed to school only to turn around a short time later to send them home. I have alerted the administration at De Pere and asked that the Notre Dame closing be included in the press release.
Just a reminder...you must enter and exit the school buildings at the designated door. Visitors must sign in and out in both the elementary school office and middle school office. We have visitor badges in the office and we expect all parents/volunteers/ visitors and SCRIP buyers to wear them. Help Needed: Each year we try to scrub and rewax all the hard floors at the Middle School. If you have some time Mr. Gil would appreciate the help. To vounteer call Mr. Gil at 360-8676. I think the students as well as adults have a good time helping Mr. Gil and making the school shine. Finally, I want to thank you for all your help making Notre Dame a great school. Notre Dame is a great school because of the wonderful teachers/staff, families, and students!! I hope that you are able to rest, relax and enjoy time with your family. JUMP WITH JOY,
Jeff

Adopt-a-Family Thank you!

Adopt A Family Project - Thank You!!
Thank You to all the Notre Dame families that graciously donated their time and resources to help out with the Adopt-A-Family project. Due to everyone's generous participation, we were able to successfully provide wrapped gifts for 5 families associated with St. Mary's/St. Francis parishes. In addition to the gifts, we were able to provide everyone with groceries, gas, household supplies and a few additional gift cards that will hopefully assist them after the holidays too. The Notre Dame families came together to made a difference in these lives and it was a great example of the Christmas Spirit for our kiddos be a part of. Thanks again ~ Laura Weber, Sommer May, and Jessie Lawton |

Key Club Update
The final numbers from the recent 2012 Key Club have been tallied, and we are excited to announce that the event made $111,000
in proceeds! Checks for $55,500 were distributed to both Notre Dame and Our Lady of Lourdes this week. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the fundraiser event another great success.
The 2013 Key Club will take place on Friday, November 1st. Please mark your calendars and save the date!
Are you looking to get involved with planning your school's largest fundraiser event? It's time for two new co-chairs to take the reins and introduce their ideas and energy into the Key Club. Please consider volunteering your time! In addition to the co-chair role opportunities, there are many different ways to participate in the 2013 Key Club event planning (with various day of week, time of day and # of hours commitment opportunities). Key Club planning can be a fun way for you to earn your TSF hours. Please contact Alisa or Kelly if you are interested in helping.
