Dear Notre Dame Families:

We are finishing up a short but busy week.  I hope that you enjoyed sitting down and discussing your child's progress with the Notre Dame Staff.  We believe that communication between parent and teacher is essential for your student's academic progress.  With conferences behind us, our focus now turns to Key Club.  Be sure to check out information about this great event which is coming home with your child.  It is not too late to get involved!  Thank you for your support of Notre Dame and this great event.  Be sure to get outside this weekend and enjoy the fantastic fall weather that Wisconsin brings us.

JUMP WITH JOY,

Jeff

The St. John's Shelter has invited the Notre Dame of De Pere School to be a part of their first Open House for the entire Community on October 25th from 4:30-8 pm.  They have invited us to prepare and serve the meal with our children (the kiddos are allowed to help serve the meal due to this being prior to the shelter opening for the season)  This is a great opportunity to show our kiddos around the shelter and teach them where the amazing food that everyone has been contributing is going to throughout the year. They have asked that each child signing up to volunteer is in 1st grade or older and has an adult on site to assist if needed.  The second grade has started signing up to make the meal and we will keep the school posted as additional help may be needed.  However, we wanted to open up the voluntering opportunity to the entire school.  Anyone (all ages!) is also welcome to stop by the shelter at any time convenient for a tour and bowl of chili without signing up to volunteer.
