You can now Upload Your Oral Presentation or a Video About Your Poster Presentation Online. Please do not upload your presentation until it's finalized, but you can do it online anytime or onsite the day before your presentation.

New!  The Coalition of Prescribed Fire Councils will be holding an information session on Wednesday,  1-4pm in UC Room 330. They will be presenting an overview of what Rx fire councils are and their effectiveness in a variety of regions, and will answer questions and share experiences. For more info contact  Dr. Morgan Varner, Chair of the Governing Board.

 

New!  Quadrennial Fire Review will hold daily sessions:

  • Monday 8-5pm: Facilitated session focused on climate change and public and firefighter safety. Goal to develop potential future scenarios of what the main risks, threats, challenges and opportunities in 10 to 20 years.
  • Tuesday: Individual interviews and small group
    interview sessions - by invitation
  • Wednesday 1-5pm: Facilitated session focused on technology and infrastructure and public and firefighter safety, and to develop potential future scenarios of what the main risks, threats, challenges and opportunities. 
  • Thursday:  Individual interviews and small group
    interview sessions - by invitation

Field Trips and Workshops are starting to fill. We have already closed several as we've reached capacity, and a number are almost full.  We will not be making wait lists or adding new people once they're full, so to make sure you get in the workshop or on the field trip of your choice, register right away.

Awards Banquet ~ You don't want to miss this event! Wednesday evening we will start out with the Silent Art Auction and Social reception/no-host bar at 5:00, followed by dinner at 6:00. Later in the evening we will have our Awards Ceremony, an exciting presentation by Michael Kodas, and music by Russ Nasset and the Revelators.
