Absolute Addiction- "The Star" of the
2012 Open House

Back at my open house in November, I did a riding demo with Gus for the guests. I was a little unsure about how he was going to act in front of all the people and cameras, as it was out of his normal routine. However, once again, Gus proved he is maturing nicely as he was a star and went around like a pro!

FOR SALE: "Gracie"
Adorable Grey Conn/TB

Goodness Gracious (aka Gracie) is a 19yr, 14.3 Conn/TB mare. She is a super cute jumper and has evented through Training level. She would also do very well in the Hunters. Easy to ride and handle, no issues, sound. Has some melanomas due to being grey. Would be suitable for a Pony Clubber or adult amateur. Gracie would also excel in the hunter ring with her even temperament, great movement and jumping form. Good home is a must.

With 2012 winding down to an end, and as I prepare for Aiken this winter, I wanted to share a look back at the recent happenings of Rock Solid Training.

Keep reading for a detailed report!

Saying Goodbye to a Dear Friend

Most recently, I had to make the hard and painful decision to say goodbye to one of my dearest companions, A Normal Fling, aka Jeffrey. He was a wonderful horse and I am truly lucky to have had him in my life.
Rest in peace Jeffrey, you will always be loved and never forgotten!
A Normal Fling 1/1/98-12/8/12
Special thanks to Dr. Kostinas and Spurlock Equine Associates, for  taking great care of Jeffrey up until the end.
Aiken, SC Bound

Looking to continue your horse's training throughout the winter months? Don't forget I will soon be heading down to Aiken, South Carolina for the month of February, and possibly until Southern Pines H.T. in early March. I still have a few spots available for training horses, so if you are interested, please contact me. They're predicting a harsh winter for the East Coast, so now is the time to book a spot for your horse and continue training through the winter months!
Open House 2012: A Success!
On November 10th, Rock Solid Training held its annual Open House. It was a beautiful afternoon, which included a silent auction, a riding demo with Gus, delicious food from Cava Mezze, barn tours, a demo from Sabrina Morris, and great company! Thanks to everyone who came, and a special thank you to all my wonderful and supportive sponsors who set up tables or donated to the Silent Auction.
Thanks to Tara Katherine Photography for all the photos!
