What's Your Story:  

A Guide to Writing Life Stories

 

Join us for a program on the basics of writing your life story on Thursday, April 17 at 2 pm in the library meeting room. You will learn how to get started and participate in interactive small-group activities. The program will be facilitated by Paulette Stevens, founder and president of the Life Story Library Foundation.  

 

Library Board Vacancies

The Park City Library Board is accepting applications for three vacancies. The Library Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12:00PM - 1:30PM. Application deadline: April 18, 2014 

 

  


For Kids 
Crafternoons - Saturday, April 5th 2pm 

Crafternoon is a monthly social and crafting event for children. New craft projects will be taught each month and all supplies will be provided for each child that attends. Join the fun and create unique craft projects!

 
Books 2 Movies - Saturday,
April 5th 3pm 

The Secret World of Arrietty (shown with
French Subtitles) Disney's Studio Ghibli, The Secret World of Arrietty (2010), Japan, Rated G, 94 minutes, directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi - Adapted from Mary Norton's awarding winning children's novel, The Borrowers, is animated adventure of the secret world hidden beneath the floorboards. No matter how tall or small this is a heartwarming tale of friendship and courage for the whole family!  
 
Music & Movement - Sat. April 12th 11am   

 

Music andmusic and movement Movement is a lively and noisy hour aimed at toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers to explore a variety of musical instruments, dances, songs, and fantastic books.  This program is designed to engage children and get them excited about music, improve their fine and gross motor skills through movement, and spark their creativity; while supporting their early literacy development.  

 

Peter Rabbit Tea:  Thursday, April 24th 4:15pm

 

Join Peter Rabbit for Afternoon Tea and treats followed by stories and crafts.  It'll be a hopping good time for children ages 5 and up.  For more information please call 435-615-5600.

 

 

 

D.I.A. Wednesday, April 30th 5pm

 

The Park City Library is celebrating 'Children's Day, Book Day / Dia de los Ninos, Dia de los Libros' with a Family Night / Noche de la Familia!

 

Join our celebration on Wednesday, April 30th, at the Park City Library (Room 109) from 5:00p.m. - 7:00pm!  Door prizes, craft activities, refreshments, and entertainment will be featured for this festival of bilingual literacy.  Children of all ages and their families a welcome to join in on the fun!
