Ballet Mock Exams

Please bring home character skirts the week prior to mock exams so that you can ensure that the skirts are in good shape (they should be pressed).

Remember that dancers should arrive 10 minutes earlier than posted times to ensure that they have enough time to find their character shoes.

Parents are invited to view this Mock exam. Non-flash photography and videography is permitted during the Mock Exams.

Jazz Mock Exams

*All dancers are to arrive 30 mins prior to scheduled exam times with hair and attire done. We will have a designated room for the dancers to stretch and do last minute touch ups to hair and attire.

*It is very important to have your dancer at the studio 30 mins prior to exam time. Thank you.

Hair: All candidates must have hair in a tight, slicked bun (NO BANGS).

Attire: All candidates must wear a studio body suit, beige tights, and beige jazz shoes.

*Black body suits will be supplied by Panorama School of Dance on the actual EXAM DAY at the studio.

Competition Students

Please remember that our Dance Extravaganza performance is coming up at the Surrey Arts Centre on Sunday, February 16th at 1:00pm.

Be sure to check with your teacher to find out what time he/she would like you to arrive for your performance that day.

This year we are taking PRE-ORDERS for the Extravaganza DVD. We need to have a count of the number of DVD's required in order to make sure we cover the cost of having it professionally recorded.

If you would like to order a DVD, please fill out the form provided in the parent waiting rooms at both studios and return with a post-dated cheque for February 17, 2014 made out to Panorama School of Dance, cash or signed to process payment through on your account. Orders must be received by Saturday, February 8th in order to confirm booking with the videographer. Thank you.

DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA

What is Dance Extravaganza?

Dance Extravaganza is held at the Surrey Arts Centre on Sunday afternoon, February 16, 2014 @ 1:00pm.

All students who are competing, whether in a group, a comp class, or a solo/duo will be performing that afternoon.

It gives them an opportunity to be on stage, in front of an audience (full of friends and family) prior to the start of the competition season. It also gives family members the chance to see the students dance. Competitions may be held during the week, or at times that are not convenient for all family members, so this is a wonderful opportunity to see the kids, and all the other fantastic Panorama Dancers.

Our PYC group also performs their show during this great afternoon of dance - and we welcome all Panorama families to come out and support this afternoon.

Panorama Adult Fitness Class

Please join Miss Cary for her fitness classes!

Wednesday, 12:30-2:00pm at the Ridge studio.

Ballet barre, jazz warm-up and core workout, technique across the floor, and a fun up beat combo.

Cost: $15/per class OR Punch Card/$100 (8 classes)

Costume Payment Reminder

Please take note that on January 15th, costume balances owing for recital costumes were posted to some class accounts. These balances will be due by February 15th.

*All Fleetwood and Ridge Lyrical and Contemporary Junior, Intermediate, teen and Senior Levels.

Please ensure that payment has been made by Feb. 15/14. Costume fees posted to your account must be paid by the due date. If not received by the date the office will process the payment through your pre-authorized payment method.
