Wagging Our Tails for Lucky Dog Rescue
No bones about it, we love pets! That's why Phoenicia recently participated in the Fourth Annual Christmas Tail Gingerbread Doghouse Contest and Fundraiser for Lucky Dog Rescue. Competing against some of the city's most talented chefs, our fabulous Fabrice rallied all bakery hands on deck to create the whimsical USS Bark, complete with a crew of cuddly pups, and bring home third-place honors. The best treat of all? The edible entry was auctioned off for the contest's highest bid of $400, proving our bark is definitely as big as our bite!

With much of his passion for food coming from his Armenian grandmother and her heavenly homemade Armenian string cheese, Peter hails from generations of foodies. His mother was a dietician at Macy's and he beams as he discusses the dried beef and basturmas she created. Just a sniff of his favorite spice, coriander, reminds him of the dedication to food and the food lovers he has at Phoenicia.
