Creative Connection

Wednesday, November 11 at 7pm

A monthly discussion group that focuses on the creative process. Topics include many things that affect artists, such as creative blocks, preparing for projects and competing in the marketplace. The group also offers a place to receive constructive feedback on your work. Everyone who enjoys the creative process is welcome. Presented in partnership with the West Orange Arts Council. 

 

West Orange Writers' Group  

Thursday, December 12 at 7pm

A forum for anyone interested in any kind of writing - fiction, nonfiction, children's books, poetry, etc.  The group provides open discussion and gentle critiquing of works-in-progress. The group will meet in the Meeting Room.      

  

Meet the Artist

 Thursday, December 12 at 7pm  

The photographs of E'lana Lemon are featured in the Library this month. Meet the photographer and hear about her work. The event will take place by the artwork outside the computer lab. 

 


Poetry Workshop 

Saturday, December 14 at 9:30-11:30am

Share your poems or start a new one!  Bring 10 copies of a work in progress to a casual roundtable critique led by poet Peggy Vassallo.  Bring paper and pencil

so you can begin your next poem with the group's prompts and discussion.
