Announcements:CRA Phase II Reports:
Scoring of Phase II Constructed Response Assessment ended on April 19, and beginning the afternoon of April 26 educators may access reports that capture student performance on the universally scored tasks. Please click here to login and access this information. These reports can be adjusted to show student performance on both content and practice standards relative to class, school, district or state. All questions should be directed to tncore.questions@tn.gov.
District Assessment Survey and Memo: The 2013-14 Common Core Implementation Plan released in February mentions a survey to be sent to districts by May 1 to capture preferences for assessment options and resources. In recognition of the current time demands of TCAP assessment administration and to ensure that they are informed by the most current budgetary information, these documents will be sent to directors and system testing coordinators the week of May 20. All questions should be directed to tncore.questions@tn.gov.
Summer Training Update: The TNCore team will host two upcoming webinars to ensure all schools and districts are well positioned to take full advantage of the Common Core State Standards training this summer. These sessions will include more information about school and district team allocations, sites with open spaces, an overview of training content and logistics, and answer some frequently asked questions. In addition, the webinars will share more information about a new administrator track for K-3 reading training this summer. Due to high demand, one site per grand division will offer a reading training dedicated to school leaders July 9-11 and July 16-18; more information will be shared on the webinars and be available by May 15. Both webinars will cover the same content and one webinar will be recorded and posted on www.tncore.org. Please use the hyperlink below to register for either webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. As a reminder, registration reports will be sent out by the end of the month for all districts to monitor registration for summer trainings.
