If you haven't submitted your nomination for the 2013 Eisner Prize, you should get moving! The Eisner Foundation will award $150,000 cash to one organization for intergenerational excellence. Shakespeare Takes the Stage at 17th International Conference
Love Shakespeare? Then you must join us at 9:45am Wed. morning, July 31 for the conference workshop Shakespeare: An Intergenerational Perspective.Through this engaging theatrical presentation, the Wilmington Shakespeare Company will provide a glimpse into how Shakespeare's work incorporates intergenerational topics of our time. It will get you pondering questions, such as: Have society's attitudes on aging changed since the time of Shakespeare over 400 years ago? What clues does Shakespeare give us into the universal issue of intergenerational relationships and generational conflicts? What guidance does he provide for building strong intergenerational communities? What can Shakespeare teach us about mentoring and service? Learn more.
U of Pittsburgh Offers Intergenerational Course Online
This September, the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and Generations is offering "Introduction to Intergenerational Programs," a well-respected online course developed by our esteemed colleague Sally Newman, PhD. Learn more.
New Image Gallery from StopBullying.gov 
StopBullying.gov recently added an Image Gallery to share infographics and photos to both educate and inspire on the topic of bullying.
The image gallery contains images created for social media distribution and have been featured on our social media channels.  
2013 Kids Count Data Book Released
The Annie E. Casey Foundation's 2013 KIDS COUNT Data Book finds that children in the United States continue to make gains in the areas of education and health despite a growing poverty rate. Adding to the ongoing national conversation on early childhood education, the latest Data Book offers expanded coverage of America's youngest children. Learn more.

The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation is offering capital grants for qualified organizations that provide services in: Older Adults; Workforce Development; Basic Human Needs and Health; Disabilities, Education, Children, Youth and Families; and General Community Support.
