May has been a busy month for the LA Ventura Chapter of the BIA. We held a very successful golf tournament at the Moorpark Country Club. Our members and staff participated in a successful BIASC PAC fundraising drive and Gala.  The Chapter hosted an event for LA County 3^rd Supervisorial District candidate Bobby Shriver.  And, if that wasn't enough, it is Membership Drive Month at the BIA.  All month long our Board members, along with the Programs and Membership Committee are conducting our annual membership drive.   The effort runs through May 30, with great incentives for new members who join this month ; and for current members who bring them aboard there is a great raffle provided by our Membership Drive sponsor Prospect Mortgage.  If you know of an individual or firm who would benefit from association with the BIA, please let them know of the extra incentives for joining during the month of May.  The BIA is a strong advocate for the building industry, and we only get stronger with the more voices we include.
