President's Message

Last month the Chapter hosted our annual Margarita Madness event.  A majority of our builders were present, with a nice turn out from our associate members.  We even met a few prospective members, who were member-guests.  Next week we are hosting the LA Water Summit to hear from the region's wholesale and retail water suppliers about the effects of the drought on current and future water supplies. There is also a special presentation planed by KB Home and Nexus Water on conservation measures available to builders.

May marks the BIASC PAC fundraising event. I want to ask you each to mark May 22, 2014 on your calendars and to attend this important event.  The BIASC PAC, or Political Action Committee, is hosting their annual fundraiser at The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon in Anaheim this year. PAC participation is crucial to our efforts to promote the views of our industry to elected officials throughout the region. PAC funding provides support for these efforts and is a vital component to furthering the efforts of our industry.
