Big things have been happening at the Chamber. I would like to first announce the hiring of our New Director of Tourism for the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Lisa Peterson. Lisa currently owns her own company, Petal Marketing, a full service marketing and design services company, in addition to being store manager and volunteer coordinator at Northfield Historical Society. Previous to that, she spend over 6 years as a marketing specialists at Northfield Lines, working with a wide variety of clients including the motor coach industry. We are so excited to have someone with this hospitality background join our organization as we take the CVB to the next level. Lisa started on Monday, August 24th, please stop by to say hello and welcome her to our team. I would like to share a special thanks to the CVB Advisory Board for their patience and additional work they did during this transition time. We could have not done it without you.
Expecting Director of Member Services Lindsay Reddy was admitted to Northfield Hospital and later transferred to Abbott North Western in Minneapolis on Friday on August 7th. After two long, difficult days, Lindsay give birth to her lovely daughter Zoey Jaymes, weighing 6lbs 13oz and 20 inches long on Sunday, August 9th at 4:01 p.m. After some minor issues, mother and baby were able to head home after a few additional days at the hospital. Mom, dad and baby are all doing great and Lindsay will return to work in early October.
The success of our organization lies in the support of our membership and the work of our volunteers and Ambassadors and for this we thank you!
Todd
