Modern Expands Canadian Presence
 Modern Optical recently announced the hiring of Don Coulson as Vice President of Canadian Sales and Operations. In this newly created position, Don, an industry veteran and Canadian native, will bring over 25 years of eyewear and eyecare experience, including fourteen years on the road serving the western provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Giving Back to Our Communities
Modern Optical Territory Manager, Bill Deal, recently spent the day participating in iSee, a project organized through the Ohio Optometric Association where elementary school children receive free complete eye exams and prescription eyewear. Modern Optical donated the frames, and Classic Optical Labs donated the lenses. Cheryl Archer, OD and Tracy Needham, OD were the event organizers enlisting local ECPs to provide these services to the needy children of Ohio. During the past two years, this program has helped over 200 children. Through the collaboration of all parties, these children will have a brighter future!
