Classic Tortoise with a 'Modern' Twist
Tortoise remains highly relevant in today's eyewear world, but perhaps it's time to venture outside of the box a bit.
Mixing tortoise with opposing design elements gives this classic style a whole new feel. Consider the frames on the left. Tortoise fronts contrasted against a solid temple adds a pop of color that will add interest and embrace the new season. The more extreme contrast is the clever juxtaposition of warm tortoise and cool metal to exude an urban chic style. A third option is tortoise ombre (shown on the model) which lightens the overall look while drawing added attention to the brow and temples. When evaluating the tortoise frame selection in your office, it's hard to beat the versatility of this material; however, adding a 'Modern' twist will bring some real panache to your boards.
