EEOC Provides Sample Wellness Notice and Related Q&A
New wellness program rules were recently published under the ADA to ensure wellness programs do not discriminate against employees who may have health issues, or who do not want to participate in such programs. Among other things, the new rule requires employees be provided with a notice containing specific information. To help employers comply with the new ADA rule, the EEOC has issued a sample wellness notice, as well as Q&As regarding the implementation of the new rule. PCORI Fees Due July 31, 2016
The ACA imposes fees on issuers of specified health insurance policies and plan sponsors of applicable self-insured health plans to help fund the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
