Donations and Volunteers Needed

We still need help collecting and preparing to distribute school supplies and filled backpacks for children and youth connected with the Chicago Lights Urban Farm and Tutoring Program!
Donations for the annual School Supply Drive, organized by Women at Fourth, are being collected at morning Coffee Hour on Sundays and at the reception desk during the week. Solar calculators, supply boxes, pocket-size dictionaries, and notebooks are especially needed. You can also sign up to help receive, sort, and distribute school supplies and backpacks.
A list of needed backpack supplies is available here; a list of needed Chicago Lights Tutoring supplies is available here; and a list of school supply drive volunteer opportunities is available here.
For more information about how you can help, stop by Coffee Hour this Sunday or contact Anne Ellis (312.573.3369).
