A Father's Day Bake Sale
Satisfy your sweet tooth--and support the mission work of Fourth Church youth--at this Sunday's annual Youth Bake Sale. Traditional baked goods will be available during Coffee Hour following morning worship services.
 
Funds raised from the bake sale will support travel and other expenses for the youth during their July 9-16 mission trip to Asheville, North Carolina.
 
Time:
     Sunday, June 19
     Following 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. services
 
Place:
     During Coffee Hour in the Courtyard 
     
Baccalaureate Sunday: June 26
This coming Monday is the last day to submit 2016 graduate names! If you or someone you know is graduating from eighth grade, high school, or a graduate or professional program in 2016, please let Rocky Supinger know about this accomplishment.
 
Graduate names received by this Monday, June 20 will appear in the bulletin on June 26, which is Baccalaureate Sunday.

222nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA)
The 222nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) will begin tomorrow and continue through June 25 in Portland, Oregon. Shannon Kershner will be attending as an observer.

Tasty Food and Fun at the Urban Farm
Sunny skies and warm temperatures are in the forecast for next Saturday--and so is a community cookout at the Chicago Lights Urban Farm! Bring family and friends to the Farm (444 W. Chicago) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. for food and live music from the Mazz Trio.
 
Lunch will be served at noon from the grill and will use ingredients from the Urban Farm.
 
This event is free and open to the public, so we hope to see you there as we welcome the summer season!

There are several ways to get involved in the mission and ministry of Fourth Church. See below for details!
 
Current Volunteer Needs

Physicians, nurses, or pharmacists
to serve as a medical resource to guests of Sunday Night Supper, 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Sundays

Gardeners to volunteer at the Chicago Lights Urban Farm (444 W. Chicago), Saturdays, 12:00 noon-3:00 p.m.

Greeters and ushers
for the 4:00 p.m. jazz worship service

Nursery caregivers during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services

To sign up for any of these volunteer opportunities or to learn more about them, stop by Coffee Hour on Sunday morning or contact Larry Nicholson, Director of Volunteer Ministry.
