Did you know that Illinois is not only famous for being the home state of President Abraham Lincoln, but that it also played a crucial role in the "war between the states"?
Historian Robert Girardi will provide an overview of the contribution and importance of the State of Illinois in the Civil War during "Illinois Fights the Civil War," a gathering of Fourth Dimension--Fourth Church's fellowship group for individuals fifty and over.
Whether you're a history buff or not, we hope to see you there! Registration (required) is due this Wednesday, March 9 by contacting Anne Ellis.
