Thank you to the students of Chicago Lights CLASS for their beautiful gift of liturgical dance!

This past Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship, the dancers--students in grades five through twelve who spent two weeks at Fourth Church this summer taking part in dance instruction in various styles--accompanied the choir in interpreting the words of the anthem "Bless, O Lord, Us Thy Servants."

Check out our photos to fully experience how the dancers' lyrical movement invited the congregation into deeper engagement with the music and words and enhanced the worship experience.

Be a Tutor!
Have you considered volunteering with Fourth Church? The Chicago Lights Tutoring 2015-2016 program year kicks off on Monday, October 5--and to make that possible, volunteers are needed to be tutors and mentors! Each volunteer will be paired up with one of the 400 first- through twelfth-grade students who participate in the program.

New volunteers are asked to attend one of the following orientation sessions at 6:00 p.m. in Borwell Dining Room: Thursday, September 10; Monday, September 14; Wednesday, September 16; Tuesday, September 22; or Monday, September 28. RSVP online here.

Come make a difference in the lives of children from Chicago's under-resourced neighborhoods!
