fiveTravelers Heading to Guatemala
A Mission Trip with Common Hope

Guatemala mission trip participants leave this Sunday to spend a week in Guatemala with their host, Common Hope, which serves Guatemalans through programs in education, health care, and housing.

While in Guatemala, these fifteen travelers--led by Tom Schemper, Director of the Replogle Center for Counseling and Well-Being, and Spiritual Director Sue Schemper--will visit families in a local community and help construct a simple home or sort supplies in a warehouse, all while learning about the culture, history, economics, and challenges in Guatemala and experiencing the rich hospitality and gifts of their Guatemalan hosts.

Please keep these travelers and their hosts in your thoughts and prayers as together they participate in the worldwide mission and ministry of the church of Jesus Christ.

Filled backpacks and school supplies are being collected at morning Coffee Hour on Sundays and at the reception desk during the week. You can also sign up there to fill a backpack for a child, donate school supplies, or help receive, sort, and distribute school supplies and backpacks.
