Raising Funds for Fourth Church Meals Ministry

You don't have to walk in the June 20 Hunger Walk in order to help us earn food credits for Sunday and Monday Night Suppers and weekday bag lunches. It's easy to make a donation at our Meals Ministry team page online and thus to help provide much-needed food for our neighbors in need.

To help us meet our goal of raising $25,000 to support Fourth Church Meals Ministry--which will serve more than 27,500 meals to hungry neighbors this year--we are also looking for more walkers to join our team. Come walk with us on June 20 as we set out from Solider Field for the 5K Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) Hunger Walk!

To register to walk with the Fourth Church Meals Ministry team, click here and follow the step-by-step instructions on the registration process.

More information is also available by contacting Norman Clearfield, Meals Ministry Coordinator, at 312.981.3599.

threeDo You Have Your Encore Tickets?

Next Friday, June 19 is the last day to reserve tickets to Encore, a benefit that combines an elegant cocktail reception in the Gratz Center with an engaging musical event in Buchanan Chapel. All proceeds help support the Center for Life and Learning (CLL), which serves adults sixty and more in our community.

Tom Clear, the popular Music History instructor with the CLL, is putting together an enjoyable evening of music: soprano Desire Hassler and violinist Zhanna Bullock will join Tom for a selection of pieces from such favorites as Carmen and My Fair Lady.

Reserve your tickets for this fun evening out by using our online registration page; all reservations will be held at the door.
