Save the Date for the Annual Youth Fundraiser

Mark next Sunday, April 26 on your calendar as the day to enjoy a hearty breakfast while supporting Fourth Church youth at the annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.!

A breakfast of all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, and sausage--for a suggested donation of $12--will be served between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Borwell Dining Room that day. Made-to-order omelets will be prepared by John Vest for an additional donation of $5. (You'll definitely want to add an omelet to your breakfast order this year, as it's your last chance to have John make one for you before he heads off to his new Union Presbyterian Seminary position this summer!)

Proceeds support the annual Senior Highs summer mission trip.

Tickets for the Pancake Breakfast will be available during Coffee Hour this Sunday, April 19 and at the door on Sunday, April 26.

sixHygiene Kits for PDA
Donate Today!

This Sunday--and each Sunday through May 10--Presbyterian Women will be collecting materials and funds for hygiene kits for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), which cares for communities affected by crises and catastrophic events. One way PDA does this is by working with Church World Service (CWS), a cooperative ministry of thirty-seven Christian-based communions, to provide hygiene kits to areas affected by disaster.

Each kit is estimated to cost about $10 to put together, plus another $2 for shipping and handling fees for distribution with Church World Services. Materials and funds for the hygiene kits will also be collected during the week, at the reception desk.

A list of materials needed for each kit is available online.

Learn Mosaic Basics Next Sunday

Inspired by the work of Italian mosaic artist Verdiano Marzi, whose work is currently on display in the Loggia?

Want to learn the art of creating a beautiful mosaic?

Then come to Room 5G of the Gratz Center next Sunday, April 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. for a community mosaic workshop taught by instructors from the Chicago Mosaic School.
