Welcome, New Members!
Join Us for 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Worship

This Sunday we'll welcome to the Fourth Church pulpit during 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services Ted Wardlaw, President of the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Prior to becoming the ninth president of Austin Presbyterian Seminary in the fall of 2002, Dr. Wardlaw served as Pastor of the historic downtown congregation of Atlanta's Central Presbyterian Church for twelve years. He has also served Germantown Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Tennessee; Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church in Sherman, Texas; and Setauket Presbyterian Church in Setauket, Long Island, New York and has been an adjunct professor of homiletics.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Dr. Wardlaw to Fourth Church!

twoPresenting Bibles to Fourth Graders

Fourth graders will receive Bibles from the congregation during this Sunday's 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship.

This is just one of the ways we, as a congregation, live out our baptismal pledge to support the children and youth of the church. We hope you'll join us in celebrating this special moment in the faith journey of our young people, and we invite you to continue to hold them and their journey in your prayers.

threeA Concert by the Renowned King's College Choir

The Choir of King's College from Cambridge, England, will be in concert at Fourth Church this coming Tuesday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The program will feature both traditional and innovative English choral repertoire.

A world-renowned choral group, the Choir of King's College is a preeminent representative of the great British church music tradition and is particularly well known to many for its Christmas Eve service of Lessons and Carols broadcast annually on public radio stations across the country and the world. This Tuesday's concert offers a unique opportunity to hear the choir in person.

Tickets are available online through the concert's cosponsor, Symphony Center Presents.

Guide Members of the Niagara Interfaith Network

Fourth Church will once again be hosting members of the Islamic community at the 9:30 a.m. service on Palm Sunday, March 29. Jointly sponsored by Fourth Church and the Niagara Foundation, this opportunity is part of the community education program "Sharing the Faith," an interfaith approach to creating collaborative programs that enhance literacy of the Abrahamic faiths.

The Interfaith Resource Committee is recruiting Fourth Church members interested in acting as hosts next Sunday. Hosts will be matched with individuals or couples from the Niagara Interfaith network and spend approximately two hours guiding them through the Palm Sunday service. They will meet around 8:30 a.m. and adjourn around 11:00 a.m.

If you would like to share the Palm Sunday experience with our Muslim brothers and sisters, please contact Anne Ellis (312.573.3369) by this Wednesday, March 25.
