A Special Grief Group and Worship Service

While the holidays are a time of joy and celebration for many, it can also be a time of sorrow for those experiencing loss. A special Grief Group for those dealing with loss during the holidays will be offered through the Replogle Center for Counseling and Well-Being on Mondays, November 17-December 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Boyle Conference Room.

To register, please call the Replogle Center at 312.787.8425.

Another opportunity to acknowledge grief, loss, struggles, and darkness will be offered through the Longest Night Service on Thursday, December 18. Also known as the "Blue Christmas" service and hosted by our Stephen Ministers, this worship opportunity is for those who may find it difficult to share in the traditional joyous celebration of Christmas. This year's service will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Buchanan Chapel.

Families will also play harvest-themed games and enjoy a shared meal together. We hope to see you next Friday!
