The Week of November 16, 2014
~This Week's Message~
"Understanding And Coping With Loneliness"
-John 16:29-33-

Loneliness is something with which we can all identify, as we have all been, perhaps are, and will walk through times when we feel lonely. Developing a relationship with God helps us know and believe that He is always with us. And, developing relationships with others by giving to them, serving and encouraging them will greatly help with this common issue.

~Coffee Break~

Coffee Break, a non-denominational, inductive Bible study meets Wednesday at 9:30 am. This year we have a Young Mother's Bible Study Group and babysitting is provided. For more information, please contact Arlene Emde or Starr Hoekstra. All are welcome.

~Adult Sunday School~

We are studying Ray Vander Laan's video series, "Promised Land."  In each lesson of this study, Vander Laan illuminates the historical, geographical and cultural context of the Bible.  Just as the time and place of our birth and life shapes our journey, so the land and culture of the Hebrew people shaped their story.  In this first volume of Faith Lessons, filmed on location in the Middle East, you will discover how God guided his people to a specific place -the Promise Land- to impact the world both in ancient times and today.

~Prayer Group~

This group is an extension of the Prayer Concerns posted in the weekly bulletin, where the needs of the church and community are lifted up in prayer.  We will meet again on Sunday, November 30 at 9:00 am just before Sunday service in the classroom near the front entrance of church. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

~Evening Bible Study News~

The Men's and Women's Evening Bible Study groups will not meet on November 25.  The next meeting will be on December 9 at 7:00 pm.

~Thanksgiving Service
And Sharing~

Yes, there's a "nip" in the air, which means "Fall is here!" And with Fall, comes the wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We will be gathering on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:00 pm for our annual Thanksgiving Service. Would you be willing to share a short testimony of thanksgiving? If so, please let Pastor Howard know.

~Bowling League~

The Holy Rollers Bowling League will take place on the following Sundays, 5:30 pm. at Willowbrook Lanes:
