This Week's Message
"Kingdom Against Kingdom: Choose Godly Influence"   Daniel 6:16-28

Today we see the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den, and God's miraculous deliverance "with not a scratch!"  Daniel chose to live his life for God, seeking to influence others so they would turn toward the living God, and he succeeded in a wonderful way, although it could have cost him his life. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are also called to take a stand for Jesus Christ in our world.  We need to be aware that the nature of the Christian faith marks us all "for the lions."  Yet, we need to be resolute in our faith and commitment, leaving the results in the hands of God.

Prayer Group

This group is an extension of the Prayer Concerns posted in the weekly bulletin, where we pray for the needs of the church and community is lifted up in prayer. We will meet on the following Sundays: August 10 and 24 at 9 am just before Sunday service in the classroom near the front entrance of church.  All are welcome and encouraged to join in.
