Hear Me Roar: A Study of the Book of Daniel

"Kingdom Against Kingdom: Choose Integrity" ~ Daniel 6:1-15

These are the beginning verses leading to "Daniel in the Lion's Den" for next week. We will see in these verses of the jealousy of the other counselors at Daniel's wisdom and integrity, and how they set up a plan to have him killed. Daniel shows his integrity as he remains faithful to the living God, no matter what the consequences. We will conclude by focusing on this topic of integrity. We live in a world where men and women of integrity - who do what they say, and believe in the truth, willing to stand there no matter what the consequences - are so desperately needed.

Community Fun Night

Join us on Friday, July 25 (ONE WEEK AWAY!) beginning at 6 pm with a Bouncy House, Games & Cookout, the "Snake Man" at 6:40 pm, followed by a Talent Show at 7 pm and afterwards at 8 pm, we will have a bonfire with s'mores! Talent Show Auditions must be completed by this Sunday, July 20th after church. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! All proceeds will benefit CCK.

Stand Up!

Are you in Junior or Senior High School and would like to consider making your Profession of Faith? Pastor Howard invites you to attend "Stand Up!" a class he will be leading to inform you, and prepare you, to make your Profession of Faith. Your "Profession of Faith" is where you stand up before the congregation during a worship service, and publicly declare your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. The class will be held on the following Saturdays: August 2 & 9, from 8:30 am until 12 noon. The class will meet in the church office. If you would like to attend, please contact Pastor Howard.
