Father's Day ~ "For the Men"

We will look at several Scripture passages that speak of men/fathers being learners, leaders and lovers.  As men we need to continue growing in our faith and knowledge of what it means to be a godly man.  We also are called to lead our families in Christ-like ways.  And then we are challenged to love our wives as Christ loves the church.

The Divorce Care Worship began on June 2 and will continue through the summer.  This is a workshop on Mondays from 7-8:30 pm here at DGCC.  If you know someone who could benefit from the teaching and fellowship of this workshop, please pass this information along to them.  To register, please contact the office. 

This group is an extension of the Prayer Concerns posted in the weekly bulletin, where we pray for the needs of the church and community is lifted up in prayer.  We will be meeting on the following Sundays: June 15 and 29 at 9 am just before Sunday service in the classroom near the front entrance of church.  All are welcome and encouraged to join in and bring your prayer requests.

Join us on Friday, July 25 beginning at 6 pm with a Bouncy House, Games & Cookout, the "Snake Man" at 6:40 pm, followed by a *Talent Show at 7 pm and afterwards at 8 pm, we will have a bonfire with s'mores! You can pick up an audition registration form in the church on the table in the Sanctuary. The cost to enter a single act is $10.  There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! *Talent Show Auditions will be held on June 28, 9:30 - 12 pm or by appointment.  All proceeds will benefit CCK.
