September 2013

PHDC's endorsements for the November 5, 2013 election are done, the annual party & auction for September 28th is shaping up, and another timely membership meeting is planned for October 1st. Details below.

Joni Eisen, President

Potrero Hill Democratic Club

PHDC's 5th Annual
Party & "Shop Local" Silent Auction
Saturday, September 28, 5 to 8pm Party glasses

It's barely a week away: an evening of live jazz, food, & drink - and bidding. As you might know, PHDC, unlike most other clubs, does not solicit or accept money from candidates or campaigns we have endorsed. We depend on membership dues and the annual auction to support the club's educational and political activities.

So please come! Enjoy the music - Chuck Bennett on bass, Ken French on piano, Mark Rosengarden on drums - while Dogpatch Saloon provides the beautiful venue and no-host bar. Food will be courtesy of Goat Hill Pizza, Pera and PHDC members. As for the bidding, don't forget your checkbook because tempting items are arriving daily, thanks to the generosity of neighborhood merchants & artists. You can see the growing list of donors here. Admission is free and open to the public.

Become a PHDC member at the party and your membership extends through 2014!
