Program for Young Breast Cancer Survivors
DBCC formed the Young Survivors in Action program years ago to help meet the needs of women in their 20's, 30's and 40's who were diagnosed with breast cancer. Click here to read about how the program has evolved and why the needs of young breast cancer survivors are different from others.

DBCC STAFF PROFILES
Get to know the staff at DBCC!
DBCC is a state-wide, local nonprofit with offices in all three counties. We have 17 full- and part-time staff members who work together to provide programs and services in the community. We will begin to profile staff members individually to get to know more about what they do for DBCC and the community. First up are new staff members Patty Vivo-Aucoin and Carolina Vano Johnson who both work with our Spanish speaking clients. Click their names above to read more about each of them.

NBCC UPDATE
Working toward Breast Cancer Deadline 2020
Imagine if there was a vaccine to prevent against breast cancer. Well, the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is working on it! The Artemis Project� for a Preventive Breast Cancer Vaccine has two major focuses: primary prevention and prevention of metastasis. They have brought together patient advocates and researchers from diverse fields to develop strategies and research plans. Click here to read more about the Artemis Project�.

DE-FEET 5K RUN/WALK
New, exciting things for this year!
defeet walker We are very excited to announce that our 4th Annual DE-feet Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, May 19 at the Tanger Outlets. This year we have some NEW exciting things like a Post Race Party with a food court, a new 5K course, chip timing, tech shirts, a Survivor Recognition, face painting, hotel specials and more.
