- Today I am grateful.
Many of you prayed for me, coached me, and encouraged me over the past few months, as I pursued the Christian Associates' COO / Operations Team Leader position. I am grateful.
After a very thorough search, CA was fortunate enough to hire the Chief Development Officer of a much larger European missions organization. Among other strengths, Eric Curtiss has much more corporate fundraising experience than I do (fundraising for CA as an organization), and this is something we need in this season. I asked you all to pray that "God's will be done in this hiring process," not mine. I was obedient in pursuing the role to the best of my abilities, and in the end CA got an excellent new addition to our staff. I am grateful.
Eric has asked me to join our Operations Team. I spent three days with our President, COO, CFO and Dir. of HR in Denver last month and let me just tell you... I LOVED it! God has given me a mix of communication, administration and finance skills that I feel privileged to get to leverage in the operations and system implementation arenas of CA. So excited about what my new role on that team will bring! I am grateful.

This summer we were privileged to take 23 people to Aix-en-Provence to work at The International Christian Community of Provence's Camp. It was amazing! We were able to introduce our team to our friends in Aix, whose lives have been changed by the partnership God has formed over these last 8 years! We had 120 kids at camp and 60 volunteers - so many kids wanted to come, that we unfortunately had to say no to 20 of them. Your Kingdom partnership allowed Megan, Olivia, Lexi and I to go and serve our French friends and their kids. I am grateful.

I am grateful.
