Is He Calling you?
With Jesus' birthday being celebrated worldwide over the next few days, I'm reflecting on what it's all about. God loves the world. His great love motivated him to come to us in person. The Message translation of John 1:14 says: "The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood." That missional-incarnational impulse drives what we are doing with Christian Associates. Christmas has reminded me that God is inviting me, and all of us, to join him in doing that as well.
The truth is, in addition to bringing Kingdom workers into the fields to reap His Harvest, part of what God has called me to is bringing Kingdom partners alongside us to invest in this Kingdom work. As humbling and hard as that is sometimes, I "consider it pure joy" to get to issue the invite! From there it is between you and Jesus. So, consider yourself invited! If He is calling you to jump into this journey with us through prayer, finances or as a missionary, I'd be thrilled to talk further with you! |

Shepherding God's people toward their Calling
Hello from the Recruiting Team! As I wrap up (ya, no pun intended...) the end of my second year leading the recruiting for Christian Associates, I thought it timely to give you a quick update to encourage you in our partnership.
- In the past two years 78 people have attended our Engage Assessment Events!
- 56 have joined CA
- 36 are currently in the field
- 13 new team leaders and 8 new projects
- For every 5 people that join an Intro to CA, there will be 1 new Church Planter in the field! Who's next??
As Rita Warren, CA's Chairman of the Board, reminded us recently "let us keep on doing the work of the ministry while we can (John 9:4)". Thank you so much for making it possible for us to do this work!
