  Full Moon Sacred Sound Spiral

Aloha and Welcome to the Full Moon Sacred Sound Spiral!

An Activation in Nada Yoga for the Yoga Teachers of Colorado at Asana Studio, Olde Town Arvada

The Full Hunter's Moon awakens our desires and illuminates the path to our greatest treasures. It is the time of the month/year to fully integrate our width of perspective, presence of mind, connection to heart and centerdness of being. It is a time to spin tidally-charged healing vibrations of emotion and ecstasy outward; spreading the consciousness expansion that occurs when we unify our imagination with source! Together, we will charge and amplify this connection through our unified field of sound and consciousness. Our focus as a group is to use sound as an energy practice of grounding, clearing and enhancing our connection to source.

  Greetings Dear Sweet Yogi's,

What a month it's bee
Shari's Heartsn! The change of seasons is upon us, and my has it been a season of change. I hope that those of you affected by the floods are finding the support you need to make it through. Mother Nature, what a powerhouse. What a display of her power we have been witness to here in Colorado. Let's never take her for granted.

In our Annual Meeting, held on September 14th, we elected many new board members and reluctantly bid adieu to few as well. Jeanne Thornton, Past President and Carrie Searles-Odom, Vice President and Programs Manager have both now officially retired from the YTOC board. These two very special ladies were amazing to work with. I can't thank either of them
enough for their hard work and efforts, but I am happy to be able to still call them both my friends.

Your newly elected YTOC President is Joanne Thompson! And as soon as she gets back from her trip to France I will begin turning over the duties of President to her. Good timing Joanne! Joanne was YTOC's Secretary and I know she will do a very great job for you as President. She is motivated and driven and has really already jumped in and begun to plan for the future of YTOC.

Also elected in the September meeting were:

Suzi Cameron - Vice President and Programs Manager

 Sue Doty - Website Manager

Peret Martinelli - Social Media Manager (takes office on 1/1/14)

In addition, Sharon Harvey-Alexander was appointed to a Member-At-Large position. I know these amazing women will all serve YTOC well. See the "Contact Us" page on the YTOC website for the complete list of YTOC board members. There are still a few positions on the board needing to be
filled, so if you have any interest in serving please email: president@ytoc.org

As promised, here is the closing circle reading from our August retreat. EnJoy all gifts that life has to offer you!

My Help is in the Mountain:
My help is in the mountain
Where I take myself to heal
The earthly wounds
That people give to me.
I find a rock with sun on it
And a stream where the water runs gentle
And the trees which one by give me company.
So must I stay for a long time
Until I have frown from the rock
And the stream is running through me and I cannot tell myself from one tall tree.
Then I know that nothing touches me nor makes me nor makes me run away.
My help is in the mountain that I take away with me.
Earth cure me. Earth receive my woe.
Rock strengthen me. Rock receive my weakness.
Rain wash my sadness away. Rain receive my doubt.
Sun make sweet my song. Sun receive the anger from my heart.

 ~ ~Nancy Wood Earth Prayers

Hope you all had a very happy National Yoga Month!

Shanti, Shalom, Salaam ... Peace, Peace, Peace

Yours in Service,

Shari Turney
