Happy February! Did you see that we have a new icon logo on our website? I've copied it below. This one is sized so that it can easily be included on your websites and business cards. So, please do so and proudly let others know that you are a member of Yoga Teachers of Colorado!

Thanks for posting your events to the new website. Please keep them coming!

We have more things to make your membership, and our website, even valuable still in the works. I just uploaded new photos from our January event to the Photos page! And, I just sent our brand new "hot of the presses" 2013 Quotes Book to our developer to put up on the website. This special 2013 Quotes Book will on the site and accessible to MEMBERS ONLY. We'll send members an email with login instructions.

 

So, If you are not a current member, or if your membership has expired, you might want to JOIN or RENEW now to make sure that you don't miss out on this.    

 

Here's how to check the status of your membership:

  • Go to the Membership page and [Click to Renew or Review Membership Information]
  • Login if prompted. Note: If this computer is used by multiple YTOC members you will need to clear cookies in your web browser to login as a different user.
  • If your membership is expired, on the main screen you will see:

                You have no active subscriptions

                Please use Add/Renew subscription form

                to order or renew subscription.

  • Click on Your Payment History.  
  • Payment History will display the beginning and end date for your membership.

If you need to renew your membership and you have a PayPal login/password, make sure you know your user id/email and password for it. Go to  www.paypal.com and login to verify your user id and password.

  • From the Your Membership Information screen, select your Membership Type and then click [Order].  
  • From there the PayPal screen should display. Follow the instructions provided by PayPal to complete the order.

PS. In case you missed it, KATHERINE DETRE passed away on 1/1/2013, at the ripe age of 102. Katherine taught yoga in Denver until she was in her nineties. This was posted on the website under "The Latest From YTOC" when we received the news.

February 3-6  Art of Meditation Course     
During the 4 day course you will be initiated into a natural and graceful system of meditation that enables an effortless transcendence into the deeper levels of the self. You will get a short regular daily practice which has a deep and lasting impact on your life.Through this daily practice, the nervous system is cultivated so that inner peace and expansion increasingly remain active throughout your day.  At the Art of Living Center in Denver 

February 3 A journey of relaxation, aromatherapy, healing sound and breath work 
Relax and enjoy the sacred sounds as you receive the aromatherapy blend for each energetic center of the body to bring you into a deep state of relaxation and peace. After the Journey, a session of Tibetan Life Force yoga breath techniques will be offered, helping the participant to integrate with the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space. Begins February 12, 2013 Contemplative Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Our 265 hour basic Yoga Teacher Training Program is the foundational yoga program for all of our trainings; you will deepen your practice and learn to teach others!
