Shirley was a very active member at St. Martin's Church for many years and trained as a spiritual director. A happy and gratifying part of her life came when she and a very caring Muslim adopted each other as "son" and "second mom". She was taken into his large family and treated with love and respect by his wife, four children, his brothers and sisters and their families.

Shirley will be missed by all who knew her loving ways and her deep spiritual wisdom.
