It is with great sadness that we let you know of the unexpected death of former parishioner Alice Mainson-Larter on Monday, June 7, 2014. As a faithful member of St. Martin's Church, Alice was on our Altar Guild caring for our fine linens, a zealous leader of the Cloak ("Gentlemen, give me your pants"), and most notably, an incredible cook who prepared many delicious meals for the parish. 

There will be a special service for Alice on Saturday morning in the Larters' home town of Carolles, France.  She will be buried in the village of her birth, St. Saturnin-du-Bois.  Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Ray and her son Jacques and his family.
