Maundy Thursday was my confirmation day.  The day that began my adult faith is forever sacred to me.  This day is marked by remembering Jesus' washing the disciple's feet.  This sacred service of serving others brings both profound humility and freedom.  How can we be completely free to serve God and man if we are embarrassed about doing so?  The Maundy Thursday Liturgy and the Service of the Foot Washing is an incredibly moving, emotional and humbling service.  I once witnessed a Rector wash the feet of his entire congregation.  I have seen congregations wash each other's feet.  In some services, only a few participate.  In other's it's the entire congregation.  And it is all good.

Join us this evening for this moving service.  You may find yourself moved like the disciple Peter, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!"
