TONIGHT! Ben Hur: Boston Jewish Film Festival Screening: An exclusive premiere of the new adaptation of this classic film! Thursday, August 18 at 6:30 PM at the Boston Commons Loew's theater. Joni Levin, the producer, and Keith Clarke, the writer, will be there for a Q and A about the remake of this classic film.
Jewish Singles Mingle: Join other Jewish singles, ages 45-65 for pizza and pasta in Kenmore Square on Monday, August 29 before we head off to Fenway to see the Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay. Senior Citizen Volunteers Needed: The Special Needs Arts Program, Inc., needs senior volunteers for their Sing Along Singers Chorus Program. Sing Along Singers brings together individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to learn about singing and music at weekly rehearsals. Yad Chessed Community Celebration: Yad Chessed supports local Jewish families in need. All are invited to their community celebration on Sunday, September 18, starting at 4:00 PM to learn more about this organization as we eat, drink, and mingle (dietary laws observed).
